Brick and Pin Films embody the foundations of any good film production - the development of the screenplay. Brick and Pin Films are dedicated to working with new and emerging talent, as well as experienced and accredited professionals in the field of screenwriting and producing.

The thriller ARK, directed by Mal Woolford and produced by Andrea Thornton, gets its international premiere at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films 2008. Having had both Fluffy and RedBlack premiere there last year, we're thrilled to be selected once again for one of the most respected short film festivals in the world, being both Oscar and BAFTA affiliated. ARK’s world premiere took place this July at Space 4 Shorts in the UK. Currently in post production director Richard Topping and producer Stevie Coe are completing 'Out of the Blue' telling the story of a fragile relationship pushing one woman to breaking point and beyond

FLUFFY:

A heart-wrenching off the wall, romantic comedy. Eric, a lonely widower, is pursued by a disobedient piece of fluff. Will his life ever be the same again?

UNTITLED:

True-life period drama depicting the life and times of one of the world’s most notorious gangsters and his ruthless accomplices.

HOODED'S world premiere at FILMSTOCK last November resulted in us winning an Audience Choice Award! Following that, Hooded went on to win BEST SHORT FILM and Best Up and Coming Director at NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and amongst other festivals that Hooded has been screening at The Cannes Film Festival in association with the British Council chose Hooded to screen at the ASPEN SHORTSFEST this April.

The British Council have chosen 'FLUFFY', 'REDBLACK' and 'HOODED' as part of their official selection to promote British films around the world at various renowned film festivals. We are thrilled to have been given this recognition due to the high calibre of applicants the British Council receives each year.
